Vanessa began her holistic practice in 2014 as an energy worker, yoga, and meditation instructor after receiving her 200 hr yoga teacher training at the renowned Himalayan Institute in Honesdale PA.
After running a successful yoga and bodywork practice in Philadelphia, Vanessa became inspired to deepen her knowledge. She traveled to Thailand to study traditional Lanna Healing, and Thai massage, as well as, explore the Thai language and martial arts, such as Muay Chaiya and Krabi Krabong.
After living in South East Asia for two years, immersed in the mountains of Northern Thailand, she yearned to deepen her knowledge. Wanting to gain an in-depth understanding of body systems and fascia, Vanessa picked up and moved, this time, to Boulder CO, to study the art of Rolfing®. Vanessa received her certification in Rolfing® Structural Integration from the distinguished Ida P. Rolf Institute of Rolfing® Structural Integration.
In 2019 Vanessa opened her successful Rolfing Practice in Portsmouth NH. During her time in New England, she added the Evolutionary Light Method of energy healing and Upleadger Cranial Sacral I & II to her skillset. In 2024, Vanessa received her Advanced Certification in Rolfing Structural Integration and is studying Rolf Movement through the Ida P. Rolf Institute in Boulder CO.
Today, Vanessa is a Certified Advanced Rolfing® Structural Integrator, USUI Reiki Master Teacher, and Cranial Sacral Practioner operating in Asheville NC.
